At the Haven Center, our focus is the kids. Since 1996, we’ve been helping Wyandotte County and Greater Kansas City youth make positive lifestyle choices. We offer programs that teach youth decision-making skills in a supportive and positive environment. Encouraging youth to abstain from risky behaviors today improves their chances for a successful future. We have provided abstinence education since 1998.

Our Staff:

The Haven Center provides the kind of structure that encourages youth to make important decisions with full confidence and support. Our trained teams work together to provide quality youth training and services coupled with dedication and compassion. Our staffing team, along with volunteers and other collaborators, teach and impart developmental skills that encourage youth to pursue their goals and dreams. We enjoy working with partners and volunteers. Opportunities are always available for community collaboration and potential volunteers.
